The Mayor appoints members to the board when terms expire or in the event of a resignation.  The City Council approves the appointment(s).  Applicants must be at least 18 years old.  Applicants must live within City Limits.  The application is available clicking on the Wanamingo EDA Icon above or you can stop at City Hall to pick one up.

Also attached is a .pdf of Cenex 4th Additional industrial/commercial properties for sale by the EDA/City of Wanamingo.  The lots (3 of them) sizes are 3 acres and have parcel numbers 70.141.0010, 70.141.0020, and 70.141.0030.  The exact value of the lots will be determined by July 1, 2015.  The preliminary value is $50,000 per acre.  The City advertises for use of Tax Increment Financing for the purchase price of the lot to prospective buyers.  Tax Abatement can be made available as a tool for economic dvelopment and rehabilitation of properties that qualify for the use of this tool in Wananmingo.  Please check out the City's policies on Tax Increment Financing and Tax Abatement in the attachments below. 

Attached below is a .pdf map showing an industrial/commercial property for sale by the EDA/City of Wanamingo.  The lot size and parcel number (70.201.0050) are included on the map.  The value of the lot is $32,600.  Interests on the lot from August 11, 2015 through October 5, 2015 can be directed to Michael Boulton at 507-824-2477.  On October 5th, the EDA may consider negotiations with a party on a lower price than listed above if there is no other interest in the property.  The City advertises for use of Tax Increment Financing for the purchase price of the lot to prospective buyers.  Tax Abatement can be made available as a tool for economic development and rehabilitation of properties that qualify for the use of this tool in Wanamingo.  Please check out the City's policies on Tax Increment Financing and Tax Abatement in the attachments below.
